Car Crashes Into Pole Near School In Ridgefield

A roadway was closed by police after a driver crashed into a utility pole near an area elementary school in Ridgefield.

Police closed Barlow Mountain Road at the intersection of North Street at approximately 8 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5 after a driver struck the pole and felled wires near Scotland Elementary School.

Only one vehicle was involved in the crash, with one reported injury.

According to the Ridgefield Police Department, parents can use Ledges Road to access the Barlow Mountain School and Scotland School area.
